Ecuador suffers from the generalized deterioration of practically all its social, macro and microeconomic indicators, as well as the credibility of its public institutions. In a framework in which the divorce between the political establishment and society is increasing, poverty, child begging, school absenteeism, suicides, family debt, citizen insecurity, and deterioration of the Whatsapp Mobile Number List market are growing rapidly. of labor, unemployment, external indebtedness and the loss of prestige of the institutional framework. It is in this context that the two main political tendencies existing in the country defined their electoral strategy. On the one hand, the correísta option headed by Andrés Arauz –since Rafael Correa is legally prevented from being a candidate–, who articulated as the main narrative that “hope returns” to the country or calls for “simply comparing the previous government with this one and thinking when we were better."
